D&D Concierge Consultancy brought mid-year festive cheer to Sandton with a curated “Christmas in July” experience celebrating the very best of the district’s luxury hospitality, retail and dining offerings as part of the monthly Educational Day for Joburg Concierge Forum Members.
The day began at the iconic Sandton Sun, where concierges were welcomed with refreshments and an opportunity to connect in a relaxed, elegant setting and Secure Cab introduced their safe e-hailing service. From there, attendees visited the newly opened Presidential Shirts showroom, renowned for its bespoke craftmanship and signature Madiba-style shirts, offering a glimpse into South Africa’s sartorial heritage.
The experience continued with a stop at Bryllianta Jewellery, where concierges enjoyed a showcase of exquisite diamond pieces and fine jewellery. Concierges were also treated to exclusive giveaway prizes courtesy of Winklmayr Leathercraft, adding a touch of bespoke luxury to the Bryllianta Jewellery experience.
A leisurely lunch followed at Maximillien Restaurant at the Da Vinci Hotel, providing a refined culinary interlude from their latest menu offerings in the heart of Nelson Mandela Square.
Concierges were then treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Johannesburg from Alto 234, Africa’s second highest urban bar, before concluding the day with a sophisticated dinner at the newly opened Mira Restaurant enjoying some Moçambique delicacies in Sandton.
